Architectural Photography — Central Valley & California

There's the way an architect sees a building. And then there's everyone else. My job is to close that gap.

I work with architects, builders, and developers who need imagery that communicates what went into the work — not just the finished surface of it. Photography built around proportion, light, and the design decisions that shaped every space. Built for portfolios, award submissions, publications, and long-term brand use.

Who This Is For:

  • Architects and architecture firms

  • Custom home builders and developers

  • Commercial builders and contractors

  • Design-build firms

If your work deserves to be seen the way it was built — this is for you.

What You Get:

  • Exterior and facade photography

  • Interior architectural coverage

  • Detail and material studies

  • Aerial and drone context shots

  • Construction documentation

  • Portfolio and publication ready files

Why Architectural Photography Is Different:

Bad architectural photography doesn't just fail to impress — it quietly undermines the reputation of everyone whose name is on the project. When a space looks dark, cramped, or flat in photos, people sense a lack of pride behind the work even if they can't articulate why.

Great architectural photography works the way a director builds a scene — wide to establish the space, medium to show how it's used, detail to highlight what makes it worth noticing. A building tells a story and the photography has to have the same flow.

How I Approach Architectural Shoots:

Before I pick up the camera I want to understand the project — the design decisions that shaped it, the materials chosen, the way light moves through the space at different times of day. Every shot is built to communicate that intent clearly and hold up across portfolios, proposals, and publications.

The Process

  1. Book your shoot — confirm spaces, scope, and timing

  2. Pre-shoot brief — understanding the design intent and what the portfolio needs to communicate

  3. Shoot day — unhurried, methodical, and built around the light

  4. Delivery — portfolio ready files within one to two weeks
