Food & Beverage Photography

Food & Beverage Photography That Makes People Hungry

The only question that matters in food photography is whether the dish looks delicious. Everything else — light, angle, surface, styling — exists to answer that question as honestly and compellingly as possible.

Who I Work With:

Restaurants, cafés, breweries, wineries, beverage producers, and agricultural brands who need photography built for menus, websites, delivery platforms, packaging, and long-term brand use.

What I Shoot:

Why:

There are hundreds of restaurants and food choices competing for the same customers. When a guest walks into your restaurant you'd never let them have a bad server experience — because that shapes how they feel about everything. Photography works the same way. It's your digital storefront, the first moment a customer interacts with your brand before they ever taste anything. Bad photos don't just underwhelm — they cost you the customer before you even had a chance.

Just as a chef crafts each ingredient on a plate, I craft each element of a food scene — the light, the plating, the styling, the backdrop, the plateware. Like a still life painter I make sure every element is balanced and intentional. Because when everything works together the photo doesn't just show the food. It makes someone hungry.

A variety of fast food items including fried chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, fried chicken, cheese bread, and pizza, served on Leo's Hot Chicken branded paper and plastic baskets on a dark wooden table.

Where I Serve:

Based in Fresno, I serve Clovis, Visalia, Madera, Merced, and the greater Central Valley—with statewide availability across California for select projects.

How It Works:

Every shoot starts with a conversation — in person or virtual — to understand your menu, your brand, and the direction the shoot should take. From there I build a shot list and mood board tailored to the project. Before shoot day I’ll prep you on everything your team needs to have ready — dish prep, space, timing. On set I photograph and style each dish methodically, maintaining clear communication throughout so nothing gets missed. Final images are delivered within one to two weeks depending on project scope.

What You Receive:

High resolution and web optimized files delivered within one to two weeks depending on project scope. Licensing included for standard commercial use. Complex or multi-day projects are scoped individually with clear deliverables agreed upfront.

Pricing:

Food and beverage photography is available per project, as set packages for menus and delivery platforms, and as ongoing content retainers for brands that need regular photography. Contact me to discuss which structure fits your needs.
